ZURICH, SWITZERLAND

16th May 2002 to 18th May 2002

Off to get some chocolates.....when only swiss will do..

Map of Zurich

Zurich seems a lot busier than Geneva, in fact on first sight it reminded us a bit of Amsterdam. It has all kinds of weird shops and people and consists of cobbled alleyways full of outdoor cafes and restaurants. There are people ambling around almost 24hrs a day and it is definitely a place to people watch.... and boy can you watch some of these people. You get all types here and I can honestly say, I have probably seen the prettiest people here in Switzerland rather than anywhere else we've been so far.

Rob on Zurich River

oooohhh and also..... the best shoes... here in Zurich.. if Geneva was jewelry, Zurich is shoes and handbags.... sooooo girlies... It goes like this: France, London and Spain for clothes, Geneva for jewelry and Zurich for accessories.

Now we know where to plan our shopping trips... I wonder what delights Italy will hold:)

Truth be told we haven't done much in Zurich other than walk around the streets, sit in the park across from the lake and play chess... yes.... Rob beat me again.. and DARN!!! I don't have an excuse this time:( (He wishes me to tell you that he is beating me 7-0) but... it is not an easy win.. pah!

I was really looking forward to going to the Lindt chocolate factory but unfortunately it was closed ....i don't know if I'll ever recover from the disappointment...:( Rob, poor darling has bought me heaps of chocolates in the attempt to help.... I'll let you know how it goes.

I'm off to see if my womanly wiles can help in the "defeat Rob campaign", you'll hear from us again from the very fashionable city of Milan daahlings:)
